County Interiors is a family business which now has the third generation working in the company.

Grandfather, Jack Franks started the family business many years ago and his son Martin and Grandson Jason are now at the helm.

Martin is a qualified upholsterer and is an absolute stickler for quality. Before any sofa or chair is passed fit for sale it has to pass Martin's rigorous standards - and he goes over each piece with a very discerning and highly qualified eye.
“I visit all the factories that we work with to watch what manufacturing processes they have in place”, says Martin.
“After working 50 years in the business, I have built up an amazing array of contacts whom I trust implicitly to provide only the finest quality products.”

Martin's son Jason now runs County Interiors' two shops in Chelmsford and Leigh and shares his father's passion for the furniture trade and his commitment to quality.
“This business is changing all the time and it's invaluable to have someone like dad around who has an incredible eye for detail when it comes to finding the best quality products” says Jason. “We work really well together although we do have our moments like any father and son team."
